Get Goated Story: When Logic Beats Magic.
I woke up at 3:33 a.m. and immediately reached for my phone. I had just had the weirdest dream, and I needed to write it down before I forgot it so I could interpret it later. The next day, I spent hours trying to decode it, but nothing made sense. None of the symbols connected, and I couldn't find a coherent message behind it.
The following night, I woke up again around 3:34 a.m. after another strange dream. I wrote that one down too, convinced the Universe was trying to tell me something. But once again... nothing.
The third, fourth, and fifth nights were the same. Every night I woke up around 3:30 a.m., wrote down another crazy dream, and spent time trying to connect the dots. I compared one dream with another, searched for recurring symbols, hidden meanings, and spiritual messages, but there were none, nothing, nada. Every dream was completely random and different from the others.
I was so confused that I ended up calling an old mentor and telling him about it: "I've been having the weirdest dreams lately..."
"That reminds me," he told me, "when I used to take my Q10 supplement at night, I'd have the craziest, most vivid dreams."
And everything clicked; my bizarre dreams meant nothing, because I remembered that the night my dreams started was the same night I had changed my routine and began taking my supplements before going to bed instead of in the afternoon. So I switched them back, and I went back to sleeping full nights without dreams I could recall.
That experience reminded me of one of the greatest lessons I've learned: Not everything is magic. Not everything is spiritual. Sometimes it's simply a supplement taken at the wrong time, something you ate before bed, stress, or your mind processing the events, challenges, fears, or victories of your life, and part of becoming the GOAT is learning to discern between the mystical and the logical, because true wisdom is knowing when something is spiritual... and when it's simply logic.
